On June 16, 2014 at the Asian Development Bank HQ in Manila, IWE is organizing Quantum Leap in Wind 2014 workshop. The workshop is part of pre-ACEF (Asia Clean Energy Forum) day-long sessions. "Every year, ACEF brings together hundreds of policymakers, project developers, investors, and technical experts from around the region for Asia’s premier event on clean energy technology, policy, programs, and financing" (source http://www.asiacleanenergyforum.org/). The 2014 Quantum Leap in Wind workshop will focus on answering the question: “What are the issues that continue to hinder wind power development?” The workshop will use this as the anchor question while addressing the grid integration facet of wind energy projects in the Asian countries.
