Egypt Wind Tenders

Egypt has qualified 49 wind projects in the latest round of tenders.

Egypt has a tiered feed-in tariff based on wind resource:

Years 1 to 5.  $114.8/MWh for 2,500 to 3,000 operating hours; and $95.7 for 3,100 to 4,000 operating hours.

Years 6 to 20.  Sliding scale.
